Mortgage Question of the Day, October 29

Q:  If someone's spouse has had a bankruptcy, does that affect the length of time before they can buy a house?

A:  Not necessarily.  If both people are going to be on the note, then it does.  If the couple can qualify for a loan with just the income of the person who did not have the bankruptcy, then they can get a loan in just that one person's name.
