The origin of Labor Day Dates back to the year 1882.
While looking back at the Labor Day History, we are reminded of the dauntless struggles and efforts that the great American labor force has always been putting in. While the traditions of Labor Day are still maintained with parades and speeches... the three day weekend is also celebrated with either a barbecue or a party with friends, family and colleagues. It's a great day to honor the workers of America and recognize their dedication.

Labor Day is observed as a legal holiday on the firsts Monday of September in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada.
In Australia, Labor Day is called Eight Hour Day, and it celebrates the successful struggle for a shorter working day.
In Europe, Labor Day is observed May 1, and is also known as May Day.
